Exeter High Street - Mixed media, oil on acrylic
Just fifty yards from the cathedral green, the city is bisected by the High Street, an attractive shopping area, which, except for buses is free of traffic, so pedestrians enjoy greater freedom. A Saxon church more than a thousand years old survived the wartime bombing and together with the mediaeval Guild Hall stands on the street cheek by jowl with the post war redevelopment.
